LLMs take the fun out of coding
- noemit 7mo agoThen you just don't know how to have fun. The higher levels of abstraction is where the interesting problems lie and where the great discussions and debates are. Implementing it was relaxing/soothing, like knitting or something, but not stimulating mentally.
- verdverm 7mo agoWish more of the implementation was relaxing or soothing, that would be nice /s I agree that the interesting parts are the high-level tasks, learning, debating, problem solving; not the key pressing and boilerplate. Even some of the algo stuff is more fun when an Ai does it so I can materialize more capabilities.
