Could you explain the "some effort initially" part?
- esafak 8mo agoThe usual bare metal lack of amenities, that's all.
- jurgenburgen 8mo agoYou take care of disaster recovery, failing machines, the works. Getting a new (or replacement) machine from Hetzner takes longer than spinning one up on a cloud provider so you need to be able to survive some machines failing.
- speedgoose 8mo agoAlso no encryption at rest. You have to setup LUKS yourself.
