  If you think the US has an interest in either Iran OR Iraq being dominant in the region without, at BEST, being completely subservient to the US, you may want to review how you think this will turn out.

    What he said and what you say do not contradict each other. Iran can be a puppet of the USA and have a great economy as well.

  You get downvoted, but you have a point (the downvotes may be due to the interpretation that this dumbfuck war will liberate anything, which indeed would be moronic to believe). However, if Iran was able to operate as a free economy, it would easily be the size of Germany, if not larger.
