Job applications feel like shouting into a void. You submit, you wait, you hear nothing. So I added link tracking to my CV — now I get a ping when a real human clicks it, which job it was for, and when.
Turns out most applications get zero clicks. Some get two within 11 seconds of each other, which means someone opened it, skimmed it, and moved on. That's useful information.
It's part of JobOps: a self-hosted job application pipeline I've been building. It also scrapes jobs, scores them for fit, and tailors your CV per application using a local LLM. Just hit 300 stars.
