- rockskon 8mo agoAside from the fact that you can get Metadata and that some communication frequently happens outside of E2EE - what US law do you believe mandates moderation? I'm curious.
- lurk2 8mo agoAll of Meta’s major properties (Messenger, Instagram, WhatsApp) support E2EE messaging.
- ntoskrnl_exe 8mo agoPretty sure that for Meta the impossibility to moderate E2EE was the point. It’s cheaper to shrug than pay content moderators.
