The main difference is it bundles a bunch of launch checks in one place like SEO metadata, sitemap/robots, security headers, link crawling (broken links/redirect loops), basic accessibility/mobile checks, etc. Lighthouse alone doesn’t cover a lot of those. So for someone with a custom pipeline, it’s mostly a quick external sanity check before launch. For founders who don’t run CLI tools, it replaces stitching together multiple audits.
