Downdetector, Speedtest sold to IT service provider Accenture in $1.2B deal
- Steeeve 7mo agoI like how they've rebranded from "Big 3 consulting firm Anderson Consulting wrought with scandal" to "IT service provider Accenture"
- weedhopper 7mo agoSpeedtest has always seemed incredibly sketchy to me, i don’t know if others share this sentiment. https://fast.com https://fast.com completed the test faster than speedtest loads the site
- syntaxing 7mo agoFast.com is from Netflix. They do it so ISP serve Netflix faster since ISP were gaming speed test sites. I’m assuming that’s the same case for cloudflare speed test.
- kotaKat 7mo agoOh god, kindly revert.
- Brajeshwar 7mo agoBtw, Cloudflare has a Speed Test at https://speed.cloudflare.com https://speed.cloudflare.com
