Sam Altman AMA about DoD deal
- techblueberry 7mo agoSo, DoD gets a frontier LLM with no guardrails, and the CEO leading the propaganda effort as well?
- giancarlostoro 7mo agoDoes he write so terribly to make sure you dont think he uses AI? His tweets are painful to read…
- nextaccountic 7mo ago> > What would cause OpenAI to walk away from a government partnership? Is there a clearly defined boundary or red line you won’t cross? > If we were asked to do something unconstitutional or illegal, we will walk away. Please come visit me in jail if necessary. - arppacket 7mo agoQ: Will you turn off the tool if they violate the rules? @sama: Yes, we will turn it off in that very unlikely event, but *we believe the U.S. government is an institution that does its best to follow law and policy.* What we won't do is turn it off because we disagree with a particular (legal military) decision. We trust their authority. How can anyone trust a guy who says this after the past year?!
- TurdF3rguson 7mo agoQ: Are we now officially living in a Terminator prequel?
- burnt-resistor 7mo agoIs there a prediction market item on whether he paid bribes to the administration or not?
