You seem to believe that Rust prevents memory leaks. It does not, and that's not what "memory safety" means.
- sheept 7mo agoYes, Rust does not guarantee that it'll prevent memory leaks. But the design of the language does make it harder for you (and your collaborators/dependencies) to accidentally leak memory compared to, say, C++.
