- reducesuffering 7mo agoMany engineers use Codex 5.3 and find it better, including Hashicorp's Mitchell.

- distrill 7mo agoi find codex 5.3 roughly on par with (though tbh still not quite as capable as) sonnet models, which are not even anthropic's flagship model family.

- ruben81ad 7mo agoI dont see much of a difference betwen Claude,Codex and GLM with OpenCode. Any on them, nowadaws, works really, really, well.

- CuriouslyC 7mo agoMy guy, it's a tradeoff of autonomy vs thoroughness. You might not enjoy using the codex models, but to say they're way worse than claude is an error.
