Adventures in Oddware: Using the Avegant Glyph (Retinal Projection) in 2026 [video]
- tuhtah 8mo agoThis channel (adventuresin9) does great deep dives into Plan 9 and fringe hardware [1]. It’s fascinating to see the Avegant Glyph [2] being presented here. It was one of the few consumer devices to use Micromirror (DLP) projection directly onto the retina instead of standard panels [3]. In the video, he looks at how it exposes itself as a USB device and hooks it up as a joystick and mouse in a non-standard setup. Does anyone here still keep one of these in their "weird hardware" drawer for testing?
