Quick tip for anyone learning foreign words on memrise or anywhere you need to type with a different keyboard layout for OSX. System Preferences -> Language and Text -> Input Sources. Select the languages you want in the list. click "Keyboard Shortcuts" and enable whatever keyboard shortcut you desire to swap layouts. ex: now I can press CMD+Space to switch keyboard layouts between Russian, French and Spanish.
