The haven't raised the price of the individual plan in at least 8 years. It is now going up 33%.
Inflation calculated from the CPI over the last 8 years in the US was 31%, which is fuzzy enough that it should be considered approximately equal to 33%.
A lot of overreaction here.
- otterley 8mo agoI think it’s the steep adjustment in price more than anything else. Raising prices 3% every year is perceived quite differently than raising it 20-33% once.
- pixelatedindex 8mo agoI’m not sure about that. I’m a 1Password user and if I had consistent price increases every year I’d have ditched it a lot sooner
