Why not? There is a ceremonial aspect to it whereby I frequently comment on social media and news sites to preach my gospel.
Also, I believe the people at the top are the devil so you could argue there is an overlap with mainstream religion.

Is blockchain fervor another whirling of Dervishes?

Look, I didn't say there has to be a belief in a divine being, I said >> Lack of a belief in one or more divine beings or divine actions. You have not expressed any belief in divine actions, divine interventions or even a divine design, so I find it pretty hard to consider it a religion with the way religions are currently recognised, formally or informally.
