Stimulant medications affect arousal and reward, not attention networks
- WarOnPrivacy 8mo agoThe headline touches on my theory of how abuse and neglect contribute to ADHD. I believe they damage the reward part of the learning process. ADHD meds help bridge the gap between what normal learners feel (reward upon learning) and what abuse/neglect victims feel.
