Perhaps there are comments elsewhere that only use his first name, or older comments I was to lazy to comb through.
If not, there were no comments on HN similar to the nasty example he quoted from XTwitter.

- thomassmith65 8mo agoThanks. Yes, that must be the thread he visited. I suppose I give HN a pass for personal attacks if they are flagged. That's actually one reason HN is the only social media I use.
