- silexia 9mo agoI am a right wing Republican and this is the first thing I think I have ever vigorously agreed with Bernie Sanders on. AI is not just a threat to your job, it is a threat to your life. Read Superintelligence. Every time I point this out here, I get downvotes. My theory is AI bots now are major participants on HN.
- xyzsparetimexyz 8mo agoThere's a very legitimate argument for being second to the punch for some of these technologies. Look at how China copied western internet payments and came up with a better system than visa in alipay. Or how the Soviet Buran shuttle had several safety improvements on the space shuttle.
