You can get a 6mmx6mmx1.2mm pure industrial diamond sheet for about $1000 [1]. That should be able to hold around 300 GB with this method and would last practically forever.

- dyauspitr 9mo agoYes? I verified the product on the link myself. Finding a single crystal sheet of diamond for sale on Google would have taken 3x as long. What’s the problem?
- userbinator 9mo agoI think we expect users to do a bit more work here in posting their comments, such as trimming off the obvious tracking shit, but apparently AI users (or more like "the used") have outsourced their thinking so much that they don't even notice or care. Finding a single crystal sheet of diamond for sale on Google would have taken 3x as long. Took me a few seconds. Even found some on Amazon.
- dyauspitr 9mo agoWhy trim off the tracking? As long as the underlying information is correct, all your opposition to it shows is a bias against newer, better ways of finding information.
- userbinator 8mo agoIf you are willing to turn off your brain to that extent, you don't even know if "the underlying information is correct".
