I just ported (this week) a 20-year-old Python app to uv/polars. (With AI it took two days). App is now 20x faster.
- minimaxir 8mo agoBoth uv and polars are technically Rust, too.
- itishappy 8mo agothat's polars for ya uv should not impact runtime performance at all
- __mharrison__ 8mo agouv just happens to make installation trivial. 20 year old app much less so.
