Yar. Weather people always blow shit out of proportion.
But, I guess it's better than "it'll be some rain" and then have lots of people unprepared resulting in fatalities / injuries.
- jrockway 14y agoThe weather people aren't blowing it out of portion, the media is doing that.
- nicksergeant 14y agoNo, they all are. * http://www.weather.com/ http://www.weather.com/ * http://www.weather.gov/ http://www.weather.gov/ * http://www.accuweather.com/ http://www.accuweather.com/ Not trying to argue, I just think even the weather people are blowing this out of proportion, not just the media.
- jrockway 14y agoI think weather.gov's headline is pretty good: "Sandy Remains a Large and Dangerous Storm; Widespread Impacts Expected Into Early Next Week" I agree with that statement completely. It's large and dangerous, but not unprecedented or the worst mother nature can do.
