Here’s a comparison between the Pixel 10a and the Pixel 7: https://store.google.com/us/magazine/compare_pixel?hl=en-US&toggler0=Pixel+10a&toggler1=Pixel+7&toggler2=Pixel+10 https://store.google.com/us/magazine/compare_pixel?hl=en-US&...
The one thing that wasn’t clear from the comparison was if USB display output is supported on the Pixel 10a. If it is, then I’m sold.

- evanjrowley 8mo agoOverall I agree. It's not the most amazing option compared to the Pixel 7. There are three reasons why I'd get this: 1. The trade-in value on the Pixel 7 is depreciating with time. Upgrading today should save more money vs. upgrading down the road. 2. It's on-par with Pixel 7 and significantly less expensive than the standard Pixel 10. 3. My goal is to replace the Pixel 7 with something that has USB-C display output so I can finally use my AR glasses with my phone. All of these points are my initial impressions of the phone. Hopefully they turn out to be true of anyone who decides to go this route.

Generally, if you’re upgrading every 3 years instead of every 6 years, you’re going to be spending twice as much on new phones, but it’s not always the case that you’re getting twice as much resale value.
- microtonal 8mo agoIt's on-par with Pixel 7 and significantly less expensive than the standard Pixel 10. Here the Pixel 10 and 10a are exactly the same price (both 549): https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/zoeken/?keyword=pixel+10 https://tweakers.net/pricewatch/zoeken/?keyword=pixel+10 Of course, the Pixel 10 is 6 months into its cycle and heavily discounted. The Pixel 10a does not differ much from the 9a (due to keeping the same SoC, same amount of RAM, etc), and is only 369 Euro (with a low of 338). tl;dr Pixel 9a and Pixel 10 are the good deals now, at least in Europe.
