Is there something that will read books to me? I.e I have some books in epub format and want audiobook versions for them, with a nice voice.
- joshmlewis 8mo agoSpeechify has been good for me although there might be better / cheaper alternatives I'm not aware of.
- nerevarthelame 8mo agoI use the standard iPhone TTS accessibility tool and an iOS ebook reader. It has modern voices, but I prefer the robotic voice from 15 years ago because it's very patterned and predictable, which makes it easier to follow at super-fast speaking rates -- something closer to my visual reading rate.
