I think they will succeed. They're selling something that's really cool and a lot of people want to see succeed, but for which there aren't any software applications to take advantage of yet. That's the type of project where a lot of people could donate at the end so that it succeeds. Opposed to say, a game, where there's a ton at the beginning and than it slowly trails off.
