I use an external monitor at my desk and didn’t want my Bluetooth speaker always connected — only when docked. So I built an open source tool that runs as a LaunchAgent and manages it automatically. It uses system_profiler for display detection and blueutil for Bluetooth control. Currently polling-based with debounce logic. Would appreciate feedback from other macOS users.
