i encourage everyone here to try a tiling window manager like i3/sway on Linux to experience a snappy way to manage window (sizes). on MacOS i will never not use something like rectangle, the out-of-the-box experience on MacOS has always been dogshit in my opinion, it just screams for a third-party software to do the heavy lifting.
