Git/most Git clients weren't designed for project managers or other document users. [shameless plug] Perforce has a new product (http://www.perforce.com/products/commons http://www.perforce.com/products/commons) that we're working on -- a client that IS designed for those folks/for document-sharing-and-versioning use cases. So if some developers are using Git, and the idea is to keep all company stuff in a clearly-shareable and accessible spot, Git + Git Fusion + p4 + Commons would do it.
