You are being too harsh - it is not Tauri's fault that Linux, unlike Windows or macOS doesn't have a webview component built-in. Even Wails (powered by Go instead of Rust) requires libgtk3 and libwebkit ( https://wails.io/docs/gettingstarted/installation https://wails.io/docs/gettingstarted/installation ) to build apps with it on Linux ( https://wails.io/docs/gettingstarted/installation https://wails.io/docs/gettingstarted/installation ).
- franga2000 8mo agoI tried to make it clear that I don't think it's their fault. It's an unfortunate situation, but they should really be more upfront about it.
