Ask HN: Is it just me or is the new Jellybean update really screwy?

I updated my Nexus S with the new Jellybean update and now my 3G/4G connection is slow, it takes a long time for my phone to connect to Wifi and Gtalk just doesn't work . Is anyone experiencing the same problem(s)?
