Tesco and Sainsbury's have 1 or 2 hour delivery windows and different charges (£10 or under) depending on day and time of day. Tuesday/Wednesday evenings (7-9pm) tend to be free for orders over £100 with Sainsbury's. We tend to do monthly deliveries including lots of the heavy/bulky items or non-perishables (tins, drinks, nappies). We then pick up the fresh items every day or two from local supermarkets/grocers. Cleaners are £8-£10/hour (in SW London anyway), ours takes 2.5 hours for our 3 bed flat. They'll often do ironing too. Couldn't ever go back to living without a washing machine though!
