Instead of giving parents vouchers, that they then use at a fraudulent daycare, in exchange for a fake job, while they take care of their children at home, parents should just get money, so that they can stay home taking care of their children if they prefer that.

- sgerenser 8mo agoEverywhere I have ever lived in the U.S. has had public Kindergarten. I assume this is probably a regional difference in terms, though? In the U.S. Kindergarten is just the grade before 1st grade. Any schooling/day care before that is usually called "preschool" and is often funded to some extent at the state level but if so is usually limited only to low income individuals.
