- sham1 9mo agoExtraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. So please present such evidence. Or by "critiquing immigration" do we actually mean racist dogwhistles against people who are the wrong colour? I sure hope not, but whatever sources for your claim you give can probably clarify this.
- GJim 9mo agoWoooooossshhhhhhhhhh
- sham1 9mo agoAh, seems that I didn't realise that they were being ironic about it. In my defence, I've seen the claim that "EU countries have no freedom of speech and you can be arrested for saying anything bad about multiculturalism or politicians" being said earnestly, even on HN. Oops.
- rsynnott 9mo agoIs this going to be that woman who was jailed for demanding the arson of asylum seeker accommodation, again? Can't even incite mass murder anymore with being put in prison; it's political correctness gone mad! I mean, given that you haven't provided any examples, I'm just going to go ahead and assume that the word 'critiquing' is being used very, ah, loosely, here. You can, generally, critique all you want; it's when you step over into inciting violence that you get in trouble.
