For vim heads also worth checking out tpope's fugitive:
https://github.com/tpope/vim-fugitive https://github.com/tpope/vim-fugitive
Very useful for inspecting and staging changes, making commits, etc.
I find you can pretty much do anything with it, and it's much faster than anything else, but it does have a slight learning curve. The documentation is very good!
- oug-t 9mo agoYes, fugitive is awesome! I use it all the time for staging changes and commits in nvim!
- mbsa7 9mo agoThis looks promising, thank you. I always used GitGutter and having to remember “: GitGutterDiffOrig” just to see my changes is a pain sometimes, this plugin seems more intuitive.
- VTimofeenko 9mo agoCheck out whichkey and/or command line completion to find those commands easier
- lervag 9mo agoI'll also vouch for fugitive - it's really good!
