- louiereederson 8mo agomultiple of what? there is maybe one software company trading above 30x revenue - palantir. many companies growing at 20% trade at single digit revenue multiples.
- jmalicki 8mo agoUnqualified it almost always means earnings (profits).
- louiereederson 8mo agothat is really not the case in software, people commonly go between EV/S and EV/FCF for high growth names. also earnings could mean: GAAP earnings, non-GAAP earnings, ebitda, ebita, FCF, FCF ex share based comp.
