AIDAR | Hamburg, Germany | REMOTE-FRIENDLY | Core Team | Full-time
We’re building AI-powered tools for artist discovery, helping music professionals find emerging artists that actually fit their taste and vision.
Looking for a Senior Full-Stack Engineer/ Data Scientist to take ownership across backend, data, and product features, working closely with the founders.
What you’ll do:
* Build and maintain backend services and APIs (Python, PostgreSQL)
* Work on data pipelines and recommendation logic that power artist discovery
* Contribute to ML-supported features (model integration, iteration, production use)
* Collaborate on user-facing features with our Flutter frontend
* Improve system architecture, performance, and reliability as we scale
* Take real ownership of technical decisions as part of the core team
About us:
We’re a small, focused team building a real product with paying users. We care about clean systems, pragmatic decisions, and shipping things that people actually use. You’ll have autonomy, responsibility, and direct influence on both product and technical direction.

- frigg 8mo ago59K for a senior fullstack engineer in Hamburg is crazy low.
- Caspar_Zinn 8mo agoI agree that more would be better. The position is grant-funded and the grant has strict rules on funding limits.
- muffix 8mo agoAnybody surprised that the tech sector in Germany is in the state it's in?
- KellyCriterion 8mo agoJobmarket in Germany is currently crashed; most people would be happy to get an offer for "only" 60k
- T0Bi 8mo agoDefinitely not true for full stack developers with more than 1-2 YOE
- KellyCriterion 8mo agoIf you lose your job right now, expect a minimum cut of 20-30%
- bflesch 8mo agoNobody forces you to work there
- frigg 8mo agoSomeone might join if they are desperate enough and hop at the next better opportunity, that's what I would do. Aren't you worried this will be a waste of time?
