I always loved when Jamie on Mythbusters pulls out some stuff from his workshop. I have TONS of "junk" and it makes huge difference in my life. Otherwise I would spend 50% of my time searching for stuff I already had, but throw away a few months ago. This also applies to IT geeks. What would you do when your cool Macbook dies? Do your work on Iphone until the replacement arrives? I would just take replacement from drawer, restore backup and be back online in 30 minutes.
