This issue looks like a situation where one person stored all their files and folders in the Windows Recycle Bin and somebody emptied it.
It might be my professional deformation, but I never store anything in ChatGPT and Claude for longer than a day or two.
- Brajeshwar 8mo agoIn ChatGPT and Claude, what settings allow data to be stored only for a set period of time/day?
- d7w 8mo agoI wish this feature existed in the app. I use a lo-fi approach and delete these chats manually every day. Not the best way, but it works for me.
- d1sxeyes 8mo agoThat’s not very generous. Keeping files in the Recycle Bin is an incorrect use of the Recycle Bin. Keeping conversations in your ChatGPT history is how it’s supposed to be used.
