What you are saying is that lawyers sometimes respond to problems by just throwing meaningless solutions at it. Sure, but every other profession sometimes does the same; see the example in my prior-prior comment. It's the person, not the profession. There are good, bad, incompetent, committed, etc. in every profession - heck, in every person, to varying degrees.
