If you want a real life simulation of this, just go into the lobby of a local McDonald's near the kitchen. It's a cacophony and the employees have tuned it out.

- bluGill 9mo agoAs an employee years ago - we learned to tune the alarms from a different station out - but someone handled each one in a few seconds. Because non were ingored they were all good - despite the vast quantity.
