Why don't you guys have cool news like "man with punisher t-shirt downs 10 ICE agents and threatens the organization on camera"?
- AlecSchueler 9mo agoThat gives them the martial law and unlimited terms they're looking for.
- nurettin 9mo agoWhat unlimited terms? It seems like they can kill whoever they want whenever they want. And I don't think there are enough of them to fight a civil war.
- RealityVoid 9mo agoThe command structures are coopted at this point. It might be enough to hold on to power when direct confrontation happens. Things happening in the US now are insane and the most insane part to me is how clear that this is the direction the Trump train was taking it. And people would just not stop going down this road. Welcome to the new world. It will suck for a long time from now on.

- muwtyhg 9mo agoIs there any mechanism already where a war or active civil unrest causes a delay in elections in America? I've read that America has no such provision in our election laws to delay/cancel an election like that.

- muwtyhg 9mo agoWhat? I just said no. Let me put it more plainly: I do not think there should be a mechanism for the federal government to cancel or delay elections due to war or civil unrest. Why are you ignoring my question, asking another one, then ignoring my answer and asking it again?
