I make sure to hold on the line for the entire call. If it says 'Press 4 to speak to a representative', I press 4. When they come on the line, I keep them occupied for as long as I possibly can. Every minute on the phone with me is a minute that they aren't trying to scam my grandmother. If enough people would do this, I would hope that the ecomonics of it would shift.
