If you're talking about nuclear bombs, they are unusable. No one wants or will do a first strike. They are only useful for deterrence. France has a first-strike policy but no one else does.
If you're talking about nuclear energy then I don't really know what your point is.
- OutOfHere 9mo agoNuclear deterrence absolutely matters. It is what is keeping North Korea protected from being bombed into extinction by the US. Once Iran has nukes with launch capabilities, it too will become immune to being bombed. To clarify, deterrence protects from being bombed via conventional means.
