I've asked this sort of question before. I've never found a satisfactory answer. My best guess is that we will mostly see wars and a societal collapse. People want things, things have scarcity. If people feel they are entitled to more than they have, they will steal/fight/etc. As people become disconnected from the work that goes into production and the satisfaction from contributing, the entitlement grows.
