Asteroids the size of 22 penguins to pass Earth this weekend (2023)
- ohjeez 9mo agoPeople will do ANYthing to avoid using metric.
- fuzzfactor 9mo agoOTOH when the penguins get too numerous to count, you know the potential for disaster is really getting out-of-hand.
- xvxvx 9mo agoAmericans will use anything but the metric system…
- AnimalMuppet 9mo agoExcept that they're using "penguins" for "meters", since the emperor penguin can be about 1 meter long. And it's the Jerusalem Post, so it's a bit unfair to say "Americans". (Maybe they're trying to write for an American audience...)
- sorokod 9mo ago> 22 emperor penguins How much is that in Gentoos?;
- cwt137 9mo agoThere is a big difference between an Emperor penguin and a Galapagos penguin. They should of used a different measure.
- Alive-in-2025 9mo agoFrom 2023 by the way.
