What’s the point of a protest if the people who don’t already agree with you don’t see you as a reasonable human? They can, but you must see them as a reasonable human, and talk to them in a more personal and calmer context.

The greatest shame of the current-day Western world is that this central tenet of liberalism actually has to be explained to people who get to call themselves (and get called by their opponents) "liberals", and then they still refuse to acknowledge it.
- donkeybeer 9mo agoThe utterly insane cannot be argue or debated with. Mocking them relentlessly and shitting on them is the only valid approach.
