No. Public shaming for sharing AI written slop is what we need more of.
- jbstack 9mo agoSuch public shaming loses its value when it's overused though (see: boy who cried wolf). The "written by AI" accusation is thrown around so much, when it often isn't even true, that it just triggers scepticism as the initial reaction. At least, it does for me.
- simianparrot 9mo agoBut it’s also true in this case. I’ve had my own comments claimed to be AI by someone because I used a phrase like “delve into”, but a few false positives from the over-eager are to be expected even if it’s not optimal.
