- phoobahr 9mo agoImmaterial - no liberal government in Canada could be said to be “far left”.
- lanfeust6 9mo agoIn terms of social issues, he could not be much further left
- rjrjrjrj 9mo agoWell, there’s the entire NDP…
- canadiantim 9mo agoWhich he had a supply and confidence agreement with because they were indistinguishable during Trudeau’s reign.
- rjrjrjrj 9mo agoFirst Trudeau government was a majority; confidence and supply was in effect only 2022-4.
- lanfeust6 9mo agoTrudeau outflanked the NDP if you recall the election vs Mulcair, who I liked. Singh for his part did not sound deviate much from Trudeau on social issues.
- b00ty4breakfast 9mo agosubstitute "communist" for "far-left" and the point still stands. No government in Canada has ever, EVER been far-left unless your definition of "far-left" is welfare capitalism.
