Show HN: Havyl OS – Decide what to do based on your energy
I built this to solve my own productivity problem:
forcing deep work at the wrong moments of the day.
Havyl OS learns energy patterns and suggests what kind of task makes sense right now
(deep work, light tasks, or rest).
I’d really appreciate honest feedback.
- Antibabelic 9mo agoWhy are you calling this an OS? The website doesn't actually tell me anything about what this piece of software is supposed to be, but my guess is that it isn't actually an operating system.
- limionaider 9mo agoThat’s a fair point — thanks for calling that out. It’s not an operating system in the traditional sense. “OS” here is more of a metaphor for a personal decision layer, something that helps decide what to do now based on energy and focus, rather than managing hardware or processes. That said, your comment makes it clear the website isn’t explaining this well enough yet, and that’s on me. I’ll work on clarifying that.
- nacozarina 9mo agothe phrase ‘create an account’ is making me irrationally angry and I feel bad
- limionaider 9mo agoThat makes sense — thanks for calling out the friction. Even if there’s a visitor option, the initial impression clearly feels like a signup wall, and that’s on me. Early UX matters a lot here, and this is helpful feedback.
