Hi HN,
I built PortPilot to solve a problem I hit daily: "port 3000 already in use" errors when juggling multiple dev projects.
What it does:
- Scans all active TCP ports with process details (name, PID, command line)
- One-click kill for stuck processes
- Auto-detects projects (Node.js, Docker, Python) from your directories
- Start/stop apps from a single dashboard
Technical details:
- Electron 27, vanilla JS (no React/Vue bloat)
- Uses native netstat (Windows) / lsof (Linux) under the hood
- 20/20 Playwright E2E tests passing
- ~70MB installed

I'd appreciate feedback on:
1. What features would make this more useful?
2. Any gotchas with the Linux implementation I should know about?
