They're tariffing manufacturing inputs. Almost everything we still make in America now costs us more to produce.
Don't anthropomorphize the misguided missiles in the Trump administration. There is no teleology behind the tariffs, only chaos and grift.
- SantalBlush 10mo agoNot to mention, as has been said many times before, there isn't much incentive to build out manufacturing in the US when its trade policy is constantly shifting at the whims of one person. Businesses need stability, and this President delivers the opposite.
