Here's a wild idea, what if the option was given to the user to select the level of detail for icons?
We have such a vast library of icons now, make it an option in System Settings.
Call it themes or whatever, I'm sure every macOS enjoyer would love to play with the options and reminisce.
Celebrate your rich design history, don't trample it!
- kyleee 9mo agoThe fancy design types will never allow it. They love controlling people and forcing their designs and “improvements” on people
- mrweasel 9mo agoCustomization = You can pick a different wallpaper, if you really want to.
- Nextgrid 9mo agoSame reason as to why they make it so difficult/impossible to opt out of updates or control them granularly - I suspect deep down they know full well nobody wants their new trash so the only way to get any kind of adoption is to force people.
